496 Fabric Lab is a Taiwan-based Jacquard Denim studio and weaving mill, dedicated to redefining the role of textiles through storytelling, craftsmanship, and technology.

Founded in 2012, we specialize in high-complexity jacquard denim development, combining aesthetic design, digital tools, and AI-assisted workflows to support premium and luxury brands worldwide.

 

In 2024, we established our own weaving center in Daxi, achieving vertical integration from design to production — with faster response times, precise quality control, and transparent sustainability practices.

 

Our Journey​

​

496 FABRIC LAB began as a textile development studio supporting jacquard traders and mills in Taiwan.
With experience in Milan luxury management and roles at Emporio Armani and Armani Jeans in Beijing and Shanghai,
our founder identified a gap between Taiwan’s technical capabilities and the expectations of global premium brands.

 

We soon transitioned from consultancy to creation — taking full control of design, patterning, sampling, and production. While the industry demanded 1,000–2,000-yard minimums, we chose a different path:300 yards per style.

This fast, flexible approach positioned us quickly within European, American, and Japanese premium markets.

 

In 2024, facing regional supply-chain instability, we built our own weaving center, enabling stable production, modern digital management, and deeper integration of AI into fabric development.

我們相信布料不只是材料，而是品牌語言、文化敘事與創作媒介。

 

我們專注於高複雜度的大提花丹寧開發，結合美學、紋版技術與 AI 輔助流程，

為國際精品與高端品牌提供獨特而精準的布料開發服務。

 

2024 年，我們在大溪成立自有織造中心，正式完成從設計到生產的垂直整合，

並透過智慧化控制、數位能源管理與透明化永續流程，打造屬於新世代的織造工廠。

 

 

品牌歷程

 

 

496 FABRIC LAB 的起點源於協助台灣大提花貿易商與工廠進行商品開發。創辦人擁有米蘭精品管理訓練，以及在北京、上海擔任 Emporio Armani、Armani Jeans Merchandiser 的經驗，讓我們清楚看見：台灣具備世界級的織造能力，但缺乏與國際市場的語言與連結。

 

因此，我們決定從顧問走向創作，全面掌握從設計、紋版、打樣到生產的流程。當市場普遍要求 1000–2000 碼起訂時，我們反向操作：每款 300 碼即可生產。快反應、多變化、小批量，使我們迅速站穩歐美與日本的高端市場。

 

2024年，因應台灣紡織供應鏈的人力與產能不穩，我們選擇自建大溪織造中心，以現代化系統、智慧能源與 AI 設計流程，開啟 496 FABRIC LAB 的新篇章。
